    From Tesla (the car company)

Yes, that was revolutionary in its time. Subsequently there have been many improvements to the auto making process, in particular from Japan, which took manufacturing to a whole new level with Kanban at Toyota in the 1940s.

78 year old pioneer of leveraged buyout dies by suicide

Lol, I've had a few exchanges with young CC's who are long TSLA, telling their viewers to chill about the downturn, that if they. keep the stock long term everything will be alright. Arrogance of youth! I turn 60 this year, ffs, my long term is 10 years at most, preferably 5 years. After...

78 year old pioneer of leveraged buyout dies by suicide

I've been very open with my family that at any sign of mental degeneration I'm flying to Europe to die in a dignifying way. I consider 80 to be my expiration year unless I feel perfectly fine physically and mentally, in which case I'll extend beyond.

And if that's the case it shows how primitive America is when it comes to end of life choices.

Bad Economics: College degree’s & Income inequality

Lol, you neither watched the video nor read my comment carefully. Singapore is quite diverse: Singapore is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-cultural society, primarily comprised of citizens of Chinese, Malay, and Indian descent, with foreigners accounting for nearly 30% of the total...

Bad Economics: College degree’s & Income inequality

Singapore has one of, if not the best education system in the world. It's a small, wealthy country that spends a great deal on ensuring social cohesion and harmony between various ethnic and religious groups that, in other southeast Asian countries tend to clash fairly frequently. Singapore...

Giving up on my dream of trading for a living

Thank you Steve M for opening up about your decision to give up trading through a supremely well written post. I certainly can relate to some of your points and that alone helps digest some of the frustrations or anxieties that I feel at times. I just happen to be lucky not to be obligated to...

    Shameless

I grew up on NPR and listen frequently. A few years ago while my work sector was going through some very public labor dispute, NPR reported locally with a decidedly pro union spin and I wondered why, until I realized they are union journalists.

    Shameless

The problem with NPR is that it's a union shop and thus anti Musk and thus, Tesla. In fact, I don't think NPR had ever written anything positive about Musk. What you're saying is Propublic is lying or exaggerating it's findings. I'm saying the "environmental" concerns in Germany are entirely...

Main reaaon for economic poverty in USA ?

Shift work, hey? Speaking like an overzealous union worker. Working well and efficiently takes away work from potential new brothers and sisters!

Bad Economics: College degree’s & Income inequality

You're just repeating what others on this thread have said. Perhaps you just wanted to add your derogatory remarks? In any case, I detailed in several posts earlier my position on the matter and I enjoin you to read them. Perhaps the Australian model is more palatable to you?

Much, much different argument. Chevron and its plastic additive is proven to be absolutely toxic, while the issue with Tesla in Germany is primarily political.
