    Battery breakthroughs: StoreDot

I'm sorry but what's the point? A car stuck at a standstill for over an hour in traffic with everything turned on will expend energy, gas or electricity. However, there have already been many tests to show that EVs stuck in very slow moving traffic practically use no battery because of their...

Game Over for Gamestop? GME down

Another good day trading GME stocks for me. Agreed it's a crazy one, those swings!:wtf: serious adrenalin rush.... I mean, well executed plan.

    What game is Blackrock playing?

I think it is working out, at Chinese pace. The fact the China transformed from a 3rd world rural society to a first world urban one shows huge evolution. China’s pace of modernisation is at levels never seen before in the history of humanity. But we know that there's more to development than...

    SEDG: thoughts?

I lost more trading SEDG this year than any other stock; a bundle of cash that I'm still peeved about primarily because I see no reason for this pitiful situation. SEDG and its cousin ENPH (yes, I also lost a bundle on that one) are supposed to be darlings of the electric tech industry, vaunted...

    Tesla TSLA has topped

I like these committed viewpoints because they sometimes don't age well and can be easy to make fun of with hindsight. I approve.

A newbie trying to find a broker . any opinions?

I used to use WeBull and TD's TOS and IB. I dropped WeBull for the reason you mention. Also, WeBull is based in China... I dropped IB because compared to TOS or WeBull its interface is reminiscent of video games I played in HS, a few decades ago. However, its MSAccess like interface is quite...

    Stress and Trading

I've read that same suggestion from others here and I'm not entirely clear what the goal is, even if I admit to doing just that from time to time :banghead: Is it basically saying that size is what triggers the stress, not the commitment to the trade. It's like the precious line, "I believe...

    Did you know?

:D Unflattering movies/documentaries about America abound from around the globe, from friendly to truly spiteful ones, in which we also learn a great deal about preconceived notions of what America is.

    Did you know?

"A&W created the third-pounder. It was the same price as McDonald's quarter-pounder. It bombed massively. When they tried to find out why, it was discovered that Americans thought they were being cheated because three is a smaller number than four. A&W — realizing they can't explain grade school...

    Tesla TSLA has topped

I'm no trading expert and my charts may come across as simplistic, but I thought I'd share where I think TSLA will be sometime between 09/28 and 11/17, knowing that with Q3 report on 10/28, there's added upside probability.

    What game is Blackrock playing?

Not sure I agree with this last sentence. Singapore is a repressive system, but Soros is fully invested in various projects there. Also, Soros's most outspoken detractors are in democratic America, not China. I don't think Chinese themselves would consider their country repressive and we...

Why China's bitcoin miners are moving to Texas

Yeah, that's if the oil industry in TX survives the fundamental change coming with electricity as the alternative energy source. No oil, no gaz flares, no cheap energy for crypto farms. I can see why the governor is welcoming the crypto farms though... it will keep the oil industry afloat a...

China is deliberately breaking the back of the world’s biggest financial bubble

JSOP loves to rant about communist dictatorships but reality is, dictatorships have no political affiliations, right wing populism or left wing populism, it's all the same. Russia is the example to prove my point, from USSR to whatever it now is, there's no difference; it's about control, of the...

AMZN - Earnings Thursday July 29 - My prediction and trading idea

Wow, I'm impressed, you can be clear and coherent when you want to! :D actually I agree with you, the likelihood of seeing AMZN at 4000 in the next 12 to 15 months is very good. It shouldn't be a surprise since it already hit 3773 in mid July. My concern with that stock (I don't trade...

China is deliberately breaking the back of the world’s biggest financial bubble

Yes, corruption absolutely corrupts. In China it's bad because it's so easy to fly off to Australia, UK, Canada or the US with the loot, buy a permanent residency and settle down...

Why China's bitcoin miners are moving to Texas

It's not a courtesy but most likely a negotiated agreement to settle there. There's very little tax paying labor in such operations so I can't imagine how much TX benefits from these energy sucking farms when government has a deal to reimburse the company when power fails. Maybe TX gets a BTC cut?
