I have never traded the full S&P 500 futures contract. Would it be less expensive from a cost stand point to trade the full contract at size instead of the ES (32 contracts vs. 160 contracts)?

You are paying $7.90 r/t at Global so that you can get the $500 intraday per contract margin. This could be deadly for some. You are in a sense paying for the rope to which you will hang yourself! :eek:

I really don't like the TWS platform used by IB, but I have gotten used to it. TWS does have some good features but it is not my taste. I like Lexus and Audi and some people like MB and BMW, it is just one of those kind of things. I do like the BEST DIRECT platform from PFG but I am not sure...

I have read in several areas that the continued sale of new homes is also putting pressure on the NG supply.....just another piece for the puzzle. Maybe you can score a one time dip for your NG play before the price moves back north.

You can only buy 30 contracts on the ES at any one time per account. They wanted to protect really dumb rich people from blowing up their account to fast!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :D

Taterman are you serious or do you believe all the CNN bull! What are the assets of the U.S. Government worth (federal land, roads, buildings, etc. etc. etc), maybe 35 to 40 trillion. The U.S. government could sell off 3 to 4 trillion in land in no time and cut the deficit in half, but why...
