Both short term MA's on my entry tf and the next higher (4500t) were expanding and price pulled back to close above the 9 ema, the takeout of the low of the high bar was what I call a 930 short

We currently have a good example of chicken shit in the ES.

Even the cleanest setups can fail or offer little or nothing but you have to have the patience to wait for the good ones and the skill to recognize them. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

I do what I do as I don't like to sit through pullbacks and draw downs. It keeps things simple and I like that. You can test a trailing strategy and see. Sometimes you will get your multiple points and sometimes little or nothing. We are all different and we all have different trade...

Separate, I don't know when a move is going to run. If it does it often gives a number of entries (like the example), if it doesn't, I don't worry about it.

Better to spend that effort to create your own strategy (ies), that way you fully understand it and know when and how to adjust when market winds shift. You are not the one you are trying to reverse engineer and will see thing differently because you ARE different.
