    ES Journal - 2021/2022

Nowadays I prefer NQ which for whatever reason find "easier" get in and out with what I need to make in a day. I use one minute to set entry/exit but watch a 20 pt,1 tick Kase bar chart setup. I just checked and there were 278 (20) point bars today. 278 friggen bars!!! Plenty of opportunity. :)

8.25 + 8.25 + 8 pts. I'm happy. Sixty something percent of total daily range a day, week after week after week, is so far out there IMO it's not even a debate.

woo good thing I'm not in a trade. TradeStation locked up for a few minutes. Been years since that happened last. Even Fed/CPI/NFP never happens. Maybe weather related. Haven't check latest on Tropical Storm/Hurricane? head this way.

Dumb are those who don't cut losses - absolutely. Most not all. Don't include me ... and others. Stops, just like traffic stop lights, are there for a reason.

    The Wall of Shame

Yup hodlers that stick to the mantra ... over the long run (40, 50, 100 years lol) markets go up. Ignoring if you get in at a multi-year swing high, or how markets can and do go sideways for multi-year periods ... or worse. The F'up Fed created the BTD mentality monster. I can't imagine what...

IMO smart at engineering (and other technical occupations) is a hindrance to becoming smart about the markets. "How hard can it be, it's all just about math right? Got this." Uh no.
