Do I have this correct? UVXY is not Sec. 1256 [but tracks VIX futures, which are Sec. 1256]. The options on UVXY, however, are Sec. 1256.

Every morning my broker (IB) flashed on my screen just before the open what the Futures Leaps spread is. Two contracts versus two LEAPS. What does this spread mean? It was -9 this morning, I think. Why two contracts of each? ITM? How far out are the LEAPS? Any other info?

Let's say I do something crazy and sell a futures option, ES, expiring in 2027 way out of the money for like 15 and collect $750. Where does that $750 go? Do I earn interest on it?

Ok, right now I can sell an ES Sept-Dec spread for like 47. But if I were to separate sell the front and buy the back, the difference is like 53 points. What gives?
