sadly , looks like EMintrader has abandoned this thread . The daily range is increasing and the L5's should be increasing at this point . my results to date for FSLR , SKF long side only +34.71 % short side only +42.71 %

I believe somewhere early on in the thread its mentioned that it can be played long or short . Was just curious how it would turn out . To play short side , just take opening price minus L5% would be price to short at . then stop would be 7 cents above opening price , just opposite of playing...

the way i saw it if long triggers stop is 7 cents below open price if short triggers stop is 7 cents above the open price L5 calculation is not revealed. can be traded both long and short at the same time my results of using the method are on p.52

yep , first page describes it entirely , later on its mentioned can be traded either short or long . Results are from 3/12/09 till present . Where is Emintrader ? did'nt post L5's for this week .

Been tracking FSLR since 3/12/09 approx 14% gain Bracket trader seems to work with this system , has a flatten on close feature in case of neither bracketed orders being hit .

this would be my guess: 1) publicly document a system he developed 2) share some of his insights with the ET community I tend to always think the best of people even though been burned quite a few times . You have to admit this is pretty rare , someone calling calling entrys and exits...

I actually did go through each days intraday chart , to make sure what you warned about did'nt happen . Sorry for any confusion caused .

I manually went through the charts and OHLC data for SKF from 03/12/09 till present . During that time SKF traded down from a 03/12/09 open of 173.98 to a 04/24/09 close of 56.70 . A loss of 67.4% . Applying emintraders system (long only) during that period yielded approx +4% gain. :)

Regarding TL construction and the two uptrend examples, first example shows connect first two swing lows before extending across, second example shows connect first two swing highs before extending across . Is this just arbitrary ? Thanks for this gift , has makings of best thread ever on ET.
