insider sales mostly mean nothing.. they have sale programs determined way before they happen.... last thing you wanna do is dump stock before it takes a dump... theres no way to know what the psychology behind these guys sales.. most likely they get issued stock options on a regular.. and there...

Go into the options trader.... there is a tab called combo in the orders section... click it.. the pick the option your in and the one you wanna roll into... then press the add to quote monitor.. and you will see the combination bid and ask.. depending on how you arranged the combo will be...

Never heard of vwap but this all makes complete sense...dynamic hedging by taleb goes into.it a bit... only place I've read about it ... its that feeling of going in easy and getting killed on the way out

Its the same thing as paying small life insurance premiums on your employeeswith you as the beneficiary.... or a better analogy is buying way out wing options on the next momentum stock death/fall.... bleeding slow is a great strategy..

your right.. this could totally be a one element of many strategies either bearish neutral or bullish... i could sit here and brainstorm many ways i could use a huge block of calls to neutralize other options i have on my book or thereof some way to unconcentrate risk in another underlying...
