well deucy... i wanna learn alot more about correlation and pair trading in general... weather it be through the futures term structure on the Vix futures.. or through even your HOT HST pair.. i think this area has tons of potiential.. this basket against index.. slash constituents verse ETFs...

there are tons of conditions on what your saying... basically options not only limit your risk but they as well provide leverage.. i'm going to read that book.. i've been doing alot of reading on this subject and wanna know alot more..just to learn really.. and hopefully eventually make some...

yeah i was quick to respond without thinking... your right... there is slippage risk in illiquid options.. i would hope that would be assumed and one would be trading options with heavy liquidity..
