I love to visit California but the tax situation there is enough to make me feel super comfortable right here in no-state-income-tax Florida. But if money was no object, I'd probably pack my bags for La Jolla, CA and never look back.

Yeah, but every chat is like that. Just because a person is logged into the chat doesn't mean he's staring at it nonstop. He could be looking at charts, trading, eating lunch, have other browser windows open, etc.

The count is accurate when I look at it. It says 9 and I count 9 people in the list.

Keeping a chat alive is always a challenge. People say they want it so I put it up. People show up and use it. Then they ask for a separate room for serious discussion. So I do that too. Then they ask for other features. So I implement them. Then everybody stops using it. :banghead:

They were taken down about 2 years ago. Facilitating those reviews was the biggest pain in the ass for me. Not a week went by that I didn't get a letter from some attorney demanding the removal of negative reviews about his client.

So what was the nature of the coding work that you did before? And have you been able to successfully apply your computer science background to your trading activities? (i.e. automation).

Nice post and I completely agree. The mental drain is pretty extreme when you're firing on all cylinders. But at least trading doesn't create the kind of exhaustion you'd feel if you were on the back of a shovel all day. That's a whole other level. :vomit:

By fiddling with words, I just meant that in certain cases we may need to remove any references to a specific post or user, since that user's post may no longer exist. We have no interest in re-writing your post or changing it's meaning in any way. End of story.

We already have that function in place. In fact, we even have a version control for every post so we can see exactly what was edited from the original post, and who made that edit (original poster, moderator, etc.). It's just not a publicly accessible feature for all to see.
