Hey Sandy.....I was actually making a joke with the QM's.....I sold the forward month QM in July 2007 at $147.25/$147.75 (off cumulative delta signals). :) My QM calls are in some thread here at ET......forgot which one. 894.50 targets filled.......next target set at 889.50 :)

So far selling the price rotations in the 904's on up has worked out today (also the AH session sellers on the 905.00 touch run were not yet nuetralized.....came close.....about 1600 contracts left). :) Next targets still at 894.50 and now have added targets at 889.50 and 884.50.

Come on now.....my QM calls were just terrible......LOL!!! :eek: :D

I had a resting order at 905.00 at the time (wanting to get filled at 905.00 on up), so right as 904.50/904.75 traded I slide my order down to 904.50 into that first push (there was initiated selling almost instantly as 904.50/904.75 started to trade and I did not want to miss fills in that...

Remember we talked about the 905.00 level before......well we finally made it so the area above here is going to be very interesting (up to the 940's). Yes the sellers gave them up and we definitely had the typical 5 to 10 point range extension beyond that previous zone of held short...

Filled on first targets at 899.50.....next targets at 894.50.....so far so good. :) 905.00 was a level I was tracking from the sell down run......it was also a level that just happened to be "in play" by some traders in the PIT. :)

Yes both areas from 04/21/09 & 04/23/09 will have combined resting BUY inventory at 831.25 up to the 834's, and I do agree the 823.00 to the mid 820's is another VERY GOOD support zone below that.

No problem........there is still a lot of what I do not at all mentioned, so I am not really worried talking about the fundamentals of the cumulative delta concept.

It is not that hard to do once everything "slows down" for you using delta the way I do. Most often I can see a potential set up developing ahead of time, so I just key in on my cumulative delta initiated selling indications. Once I see my trade entry criteria set I will jump into the trade...

Actually the 899/900 area was not a good area to sell imo......the CD has just broke to new high readings for the day, as price broke out of a consolidation zone. Price in this situation with new high delta readings for the day will most likely give you range extention beyond only one or two...

As you can see that area has several initiated BUY pulses that finally drove price out of the low 840's......but there is not a lot of resting inventory there at this point. I do still think that area will be worth a bounce or two if price trades back to that zone in the weeks/months ahead...

I just take a lot of shots with the signals I use in zones that I feel are more optimal. I do prefer to "play the edges" and on running profile days I can have several really good extended trades. Most of the time my first scale out target is at +5 points.....next target is usually at +10...
