A drink to take the edge off...

I tried that & it didn't work, the only thing that works is belief in your method and yourself. I used to have a glass of wine I found there was no consistency to end results, all it made me do is want to have another one :)

I agree, looks like a good short opp still, hourly D now complete & a bit of rounding top p/a going on, holding 1/3 position. 1403 zone is 61.8% on fibs.

So far a triple failure swing, divergence on 2, not going up, so ought to start heading lower, C'MON!!!

Looking for an opp on shorter term charts to enter a short off the hourly chart's possible triple D, would like to get 1370 & possibly lower. Short 1397, stop near where I normally have it :)

Monthly SPX, if this was an intraday chart, what would be our expectations? I looked at this chart's histo and if it was intraday p/a I would not be looking for a long.

I think if his stop is 100 pts (2% of his TLNW or total capital allocated to trading) then it makes sense to assume that he is gunning for at least 6% return, my expectations from an intraday perspective are similar in terms of r:r. What is difficult for us (the ones that scale out) to...

AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

Why not simply decrease leverage dramatically and trade something like SPYs off longer time frames? Problem solved :)

+7.25 don't like 1 min, agree with Apex I must admit 10 min still looks proper for a long, can't wait for it any longer, pub mates await :) Best to all!

I am thinking about going short in the YM late today 03.22.07

I see, I read some of his later posts about his revised method, my thoughts on it at the time was that it sounded a bit complicated, unless we have it down to a tee like Maestro has his computers doing the number crunching for him ImO we need something less sophisticated. Anyway, all the best...

It certainly has been a tough afternoon, apart from last 2 trades I've had a very good day. We don't get days like today that often, so it's OK, just accept losses and move on. Short 1385 off 1 Yahoo! Scaled out +7 Shit! Jeez, it really is like a box of chocs sometimes, my God!
