OIL SET TO surge Monday. Record oil production cut! Intervention is everywhere

Thought we could be driving with gas prices below a $1.50 for a long long long time, like 3-4-5 years, but that hope was completely destroyed moments ago...Whether its equities, housing prices, refinance rates, and now oil prices, nothing stays down, everything is forced higher with fed...

How do wash sales work for investing after daytrading it?

Exactly what is the reason and why 30 days? I'm not going to lie I lost how out on taking losses because of buying the same stock back within 30 days. You know everyone has a stock they love to trade and I'm sure they have gotten caught up in wash sales because of that.

How do wash sales work for investing after daytrading it?

I wouldn't even try and figure it out, way too confusing. Just have the tax software figure it out for you in 2021. I have had plenty of wash sales. Would be great if they could eliminate wash sales but that is something that will never happen.

The rally has been more impressive than the selloff was shocking

Huge bubble???? Wait did you say that before this crisis occurred? ??? Because not one person called anything a bubble before this crisis, saying that equities were going to continue to surge to new highs.

China reports rise in coronavirus cases, most from abroad

Every article about the economy and pandemic this weekend has me thinking the markets open down 3% or more. I just cannot find any positive articles anywhere, every headline is worse than the next. It literally feels like this quarantine is going to last until June or July. How people will cope...

    ZOOM

Well why wouldn't zm fall? They will have some great earnings for a quarter or 2 but when tens of millions of people are back to work and zoom users drop like a rock that stock will probably be down a good 1/3 or more.

I have heard about gotomeeting well before zoom. Have never used any of these video calling things since I don't do conferences but it seems zoom caught on bigger than anyone would have imagined.

Where is the S&P 500 going if it follows the path of 1929-1930

They will be buying stocks directly if the markets drop even a sliver below March 23rd lows. They need need need need to keep the markets up. The fed is only about the stock market and nothing else....the rich and wealthy need to stay rich and wealthy and since most of their assets are tied into...

Why I remain BEARish despite fed pump April 9th

This should knock down markets 3% Monday but I'm almost positive the fed will come in and save it like they did after those downright nasty weekly job numbers Thursday where once again the unemployment number surged well past all estimates ... Like I said ifffff the economy is not opened may...

Where is the S&P 500 going if it follows the path of 1929-1930

Never going to stop. Markets need and want the bailouts, without bailouts stocks would be worthless and the rich and wealthy make pretty much all their earnings through stocks so in comes the fed with trillions of dollars to pump up stocks. Rinse and repeat over and over and over again.

Why I remain BEARish despite fed pump April 9th

I'm taking that chart with little trust. If this lock down goes past April 30th any gains will be completely wiped out. Everything now is about opening up the economy...over $375,000,000,000 in gdp is lost each week the economy is shut down.
