Commercials are already loaded up with short positions in futures.......low volume day today as it looks like most will wait for "numbers" in the early a.m. tomorrow. It would be smart to be up early and ready to play in the morning (drink your coffee early)......there is going to be some...

German DAX tugs the ES around at night (ES trades with very low volume at night) so EU and other traders play both instruments. Much of the ES action in the AH session is just a reflection of how the EU markets are trading, at least until our early morning news release hours and then our open...

Yes I reread the posts, and to this point we still don't have all the exact data runs side by side to properly compare (you guys would need a DTN.IQ feed run to check against the other two). I am also not totally convinced that SierraCharts has the exact same delta "computational" formula as...

Yes that is all fine.......I was just wondering who said and has properly shown (from who you have talked to) that DTN.IQ data is in question.....that is all. :)

Barchart and DTN.IQ are separate companies......they have nothing in common. http://realtime.barchart.com/ourdata.asp http://www.dtniq.com/template.cfm?navgroup=otherlist1&urlcode=422&view=1 I am extremely comfortable with DTN.IQ feed......just never had any problems.

DTN.IQ run against Zenfire and TT feed are all pulling equal runs.....I have not ever found problems with DTN.IQ feed in my years of use.

Fortunately in about the last 4 years of heavy delta use, I have not noticed any degradation in the set ups I use. The ability to analyze order flow against the price action has a fundamental robustness to it. :)

Yes.......btw, DTN recently put a bunch of coin into their data infrastructure/servers so they have been very strong as of late!!!

Heavy negative bias to the order flow almost 20 points off the HOD yesterday is just LONG's bailing. If you understand Auction Market Theory, you would know fresh new sellers are not going to initiate heavy selling in that area......most of that volume flow was LONG's bailing out in a hurry...

Hey, today was a very good day.......27's got wacked (near term support now down a bit lower from today's action) and the bears have fresh earned liquidity.....it is still their bus to drive at this point. .....so keep dancin!!! :p :D

That entry would be trend following but also knowing you are selling only about 3/4 points above what was tested support for the day at that point. You could sell it, but be ready to bail if the 23's hold again. Selling the 32's area as trend following on the way down was a good signal...

Yes I saw it, but the delta was very postive showing solid buying conviction within the order flow.......steamroller territory on that action. :)

Always be cognizant that we had roughly 48,000 net short and their 945/946/947 (core of net short inventory) entries had their inventory +20 in the money. Price trading back to the 925/926/927 area after the LOD pivot had many pulling off heavy inventory (EOD short covering rally) into the...

That is massive held LONG's covering on the way down.......33.25-30.25 is NOT an area to sell.....that is the middle of the road.....play the "edges" :) You could BUY the first retest of the 925.50 level or SELL the retest of the 946's........the rest is garbage (for counter-trend trades).
