    Help me...What do I not see...Intel

I like Intel. Non-insane PE ratio. Pays a dividend. I do not agree with the obsession with FANG stocks.

    Dividend Stocks Questions

I like dividends because it forces discipline on management and makes it harder to cover up balance sheet problems. People like to think they're better off if the company retains the cash but: 1) There's no guarantee that it will eventually be paid to you. They could lose it all in a lawsuit...

Utopia P2P the decentralized privacy, security, gaming and vast ecosystem

Ooh an "ecosystem"! I better give these people all my money! And P2P, that sounds super reliable and secure.

Net Worth Is Less Than The Size Of Deposit

I don't worry only about failure but also about things like trading restrictions. Their handling of the Gamestop debacle seem less than optimal from a retail customer viewpoint. Also the constant notices about capping prices and such when entering trades is concerning. You may think IBKR...

Net Worth Is Less Than The Size Of Deposit

If you're talking that much money, I'd break it up between several firms any ways. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

India craps on crypto, seizes all assets of WazirX's exchange

Nope. I specifically picked banks that have already been caught. I wondered if anyone would notice that. They were already caught, and such seizure did not happen. There's a specific legal framework to protect bank deposits, unlike crypto exchanges. I am constantly amazed at the pro-crypro...

India craps on crypto, seizes all assets of WazirX's exchange

Big difference. If Wells Fargo or HSBC gets caught laundering drug money, they don't freeze the account of every single customer.

Portugal craps on crypto, reverses policy

Only peer to peer when you engage in some transactions. Most of the get rich quick crowd are looking to cash out someday and that requires an exchange.

SEC Uses Data Analysis Tools in Three Insider Trading Cases

Does "data analysis software" mean a program that automatically erases any reports of wrongdoing that include the word Pelosi? How long did Corzine spend in jail again?

THIS should be illegal . It's outright theft of investor funds. Lock them all up

The problem is boards of directors are often riddled with conflicts of interest. You get groups of insiders that all sit on the board of each others corporations and vote each other pay raises regardless of performance. Look at the Nikola Motors situation with GM. How much were those...

    The Biggest Crypto Investigation Yet

Sadly the article doesn't think much of the idea that perhaps congress should pass a law and clear the matter up. "Suing somebody is a faster, easier way to make rules than waiting for Congress to pass legislation." Somebody needs to go read a recent supreme court decision.

Putin signs law prohibiting crypto payments in Russia

But it's decentralized!!!!!! Where's the whole "you can't stop Bitcoin crowd? The knights templar were decentralized too. How'd that work out? Bitcoin is not designed with adequate privacy and network robustness to overcome state actors.

This is why I love Europe

5% of their entire GDP on a single project? Let me know when the get FUNDING, not a "necessary legal framework". This seems like a ridiculously high investment, that would also have a much higher ongoing maintenance cost than surface rail. Given that they claim it will reduce heavy trucks on...

Bill Gates dropping off the forbes 400 list

He's mainly talked because he's being constantly dragged out as commentator on various topics in mass media. But perhaps a bigger issue is his close connection to Epstein, even after Epstein went to jail, hence his divorce...

Charles Schwab misleading (ie. straight out lying) about Covered Call trading?

Nonsense. Schwab's is clearly that it is talking about the value of the OPTIONS. Of course the value of the stock covering the call goes down when its price goes down, but the text clearly states the option not the position. I advise that you stay away from options.

Explainer: How a massive options trade by a JP Morgan fund can move markets

Hahaha! Talk about a WEAK argument. So because JP Morgan is a big firm, all of their products are a good idea to buy? I bet you can find someone to sell you some worthless collateralized debt obligations that were sold by JP Morgan... cheap...

More Crypto humor -- and nerve

20% interest.... Hahahaha One of the things I don't see people talking about is the potential for the "network effect" to work in reverse as people exit their positions.

Explainer: How a massive options trade by a JP Morgan fund can move markets

Wow that fund feels like it's perfectly hedged to lose money in all market conditions. "Strategy that involves buying put options that make money if the S&P 500 drops about 5%" "the fund also sells puts that would make money if the S&P 500 drops more than 20%." "the fund sells call options...
