Sleeping on my desk. General sentiment that it's going to be slow in the mrkt thru the holidays. I think Thursdays are going to be the only interesting days in NG. Floor is kinda quiet. Some crude put spreads trading at the front of the curve. Not much going on in natty.

It's just a weekly draw. Not really any long term significance.

There are a few who did well in commodities, most notably, Brevan, Bluegold, Clive... But you're right, most got hosed.

Yea, I experienced that too. Pretty impressed with their security though. Couldn't even walk into the lobby w/out showing ID.

I think it's worth while. I was down there 2 weeks ago and the futs pits were asleep, but the options were, at the very least, alive with markets. Not too sure how much trading was going on, but it was definitely a unique place to spend an afternoon. To the OP, I PMed you too.

CL: H $40 puts traded early for a couple thousand, paper buying. H $70 calls went thru for a few hundred. NG: Paper buying J put sprds with strikes around $6. Decent size went thru.

V9/F0 sprd popular today. Basis has been going out last few days, recovered slightly today. F EFS been quoted 8/9 most of the morning. I've seen 8s and 9s trade.

Better than ave. volume in natty/cl spot mrkts. CL ave. is typically about 185K/d, and we've already done 165k with 1.5 hrs left til close. NG ave. 35-50k; already traded 46k. Alot of guys out though for Tday, so kind of surprising.

Crude rebounded handsomely. Fell $1.50 after inventory announcement, now up more than $3 from the intraday low.
