Sorry... Bitcoin is not Gold and Litecoin is not Silver

who would be so dumb and leave the keys on a hard drive. I could engrave them in your stupid gold bar or tattoo them to your ass. Some people etch them in titanium and burry them. FOLKS, BTC ARE JUST A DATABASE ENTRY. THEY ARE NOT PROGRAMS THAT CAN BE DELETED OR LOST. If you are an idiot...

High leverage offshore Forex brokers for IBC with US citizen as director/shareholder?

I thought you were asking about properly regulated bucket shops. Latvia definitely hasn't the best regulating body and for the EU countries ESMA regulation has capped leverage to 1:30. Pepperstone is in GER.

Sorry... Bitcoin is not Gold and Litecoin is not Silver

no...the blockchain is already synched with a satelite. Even when all power goes down, the people who survived the chaos, did not get killed by looters, died in hospitals and so on will have access to their BTC once they established an uplink to the satelite. Right now, everybody can buy a...

High leverage offshore Forex brokers for IBC with US citizen as director/shareholder?

You won't find one. No broker with even only two brain cells will accept an US citizen and deal with the hassle that is caused by dealing with US - authorities. Puerto Rico or not, doesn't matter.

JPMorgan says bitcoin could rise to $146,000 long-term as it competes with gold

How many bubbles did we have in crypto since 2009? Like 50 or 60? BTC, LTC, altcoins, forks, DeFi...this stuff is pumping and dumping all the time. I would not call that bubbles but just normal trading :D.

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/65238/illicit-bitcoin-transactions-remain-below-1-of-the-total-amount-says-elliptic just FYI, kids. Compared to <1% of BTC volume between 2 and 5% of the USD volume is used for illicit transactions.

JPMorgan says bitcoin could rise to $146,000 long-term as it competes with gold

Everybody is talking their books at the moment. Accumulation was below 19k and firms like JPM probably also loaded up on GBTC and derivatives. Now they are pushing prices to unload to dump funds. Nothing new under the sun

What should a successful Trader's day/week look like?

The last thing you want to wake up to when you've taken a shower or a dump is a huge outright position because your quote machine messed up and failed to lock in the hedge. I cannot tell you how many times I had to repair my position...now I stand in front of my machine sometimes soaking wet or...

What should a successful Trader's day/week look like?

I probably talk for everyone here when I say you spend ALL your time for this venture. You do nothing but this while you spend the minimum amount of time for friends, family and health. There is no time for slack. I don't know if you can find it online but there was an interview with Toni...

IB shooting itself in the foot with this ad XD

Listen skippy, I hope you do better research for your trading than for crawling up someones butt. Most likely I was in the industry for 10 years already before you even blew up your first 5k account with a buggy MT4 script. IB has an institutional sales desk in Zug that you can call in case...

What should a successful Trader's day/week look like?

While this thread is a nice idea of what everybodies life looks like, I don't think it will be beneficial for YOU. Life as a market maker is much different than life of a global macro trader. While the macro trader might read and research the entire day, the former might be coding, adjusting...

What should a successful Trader's day/week look like?

Since I added crypto to my portfolio I basically trade 24/7 when ever the market is hot. I always carry inventory and I have two sided quotes in 50+ markets across 10+ exchanges. Most of the time is spent watching risk parameters or skewing target inventory to my market view. Screens in every...

    CFD Trading weird behaviour

The normal behaviour is reading the Terms and Conditions before sending any money and pressing colored buttons. If you did you realized that you are trading against a single entity that can basically give you prices that they want. There is nothing that keeps them from pricing the DOW at 500...

Sorry... Bitcoin is not Gold and Litecoin is not Silver

People should think of Bitcoin as a tool. A tool that has very specific use cases that cannot be handled by any other asset class. Since 2017 a niche financial system emerged that is similar to Eurodollar deposits and uses Bitcoin and stablecoins as medium of exchange. In the western world...

IB shooting itself in the foot with this ad XD

There is a difference between actively running a business on a daily basis and coming in once in a while to talk to managers and bag in some dosh. I've used IB when he was still active and they were still making markets via Timber Hill. I had a guy I could call 24/7 in case something went...

IB shooting itself in the foot with this ad XD

IB's niche is asset managers. Just because I'm not using them doesn't mean I don't know what's going on. I do this for a living and have a couple of friends who are using IB for their business...and they are cursing for years already. You're a lot closer to my acronym than you think XD
