Not exactly. He botched it. Badly.

    My Wyckoff journal

I assume you've read Section 2 of W's course? If you delete everything except time, sales, and volume, you will essentially have a ticker.

Have you used dbphoenix's teachings to become a successful trader?

I am sick of hearing people say that 90% of traders lose because the market chews them up or the system doesn't work or whatever. That is just BS. The problem is those traders spend all their time playing with indicator values or analyzing timeframes or whatever and they miss the whole point of...

Have you used dbphoenix's teachings to become a successful trader?

Depends on what you mean by "naturals". If one understands that he's trading an auction market and understands how auction markets operate, if one understands how the Law of Supply and Demand is manifested in traders' behavior, if one can trade based on these understandings as well as what he...

Pat Robertson Suggests Companies Will Be Forced To Cater To Man-Dog Weddings

Conservative televangelist Pat Robertson slammed a Washington state judge's ruling that a florist's refusal to provide flowers for a gay couple's wedding had violated local anti-discrimination laws. Robertson, who has made no secret of his opposition to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender...

    Observations (an example)

If he takes the trade, then of course he wants to be in it. The difficulty lies in deciding whether he wants to be in it or not. By the time unprepared traders make up their minds, the trade is gone.

Climate skeptic scientist received 1.2 million from fossil fuel industry.

I'm shocked to learn that the fossil fuels industry is subsidizing these people! Shocked, I tell you!!

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani says Obama 'doesn't love America'

And just think, when terrorists were crashing into the WTC, Bush was reading a story to grade-school children. And continued to do so. What a great guy!

Have you used dbphoenix's teachings to become a successful trader?

Speaking only for myself, I focus only on the NQ for daytrading since doing so successfully requires that I maintain that focus. This may not be the case for everyone. I do, however, track CL because I have a list of about eight stocks that I want to buy when the time is right. As yet, the time...

    Observations (an example)

I've responded to PMs about these charts and pointed out that they are for the most part irrelevant. After a dozen, they're all about the same. Ditto with the posts; they get repetitive real fast (which you may have noticed in the current thread about whether or not anybody benefits from this)...

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

Yes, I do. If one is going to daytrade successfully, the trading must have his complete concentration, even if that's possible for only 90-120m. If he can't make that commitment, he needs to trade a larger bar interval. That's the way it is. Once the trade is on autopilot, one can read and...

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

First, if one has his own charting program, he needn't confine himself to 1 or 5m bars. He can create whatever he likes: 2m, 3m 7m, 12m, etc. Second, those who have trouble determining swing points and distinguishing among them should switch to a larger bar interval as soon as the trade has...

Have you used dbphoenix's teachings to become a successful trader?

There's no reason why price should "respect" the lines at all. The only purpose of the lines, as you pointed out, is to show the trajectory of price and when it changes. But they don't provide either support or resistance. What is more important is the median of the price swings. The trendlines...

Have you used dbphoenix's teachings to become a successful trader?

Again First, find a range, preferably one with an easily determinable upper and lower limit. Second, determine where price is within that range. Third, locate the extremes. If you have a range that is wide enough for you to trade (that is, there are enough points from top to bottom to make a...

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

Both. Execute whatever it is you're observing. I try to discourage people from daytrading whenever possible, but I'm nobody's mother. At the very least I suggest that those who are serious about this reserve at least some of their capital for hourly and daily intervals.

Have you used dbphoenix's teachings to become a successful trader?

Before getting too excited, I suggest that interested traders read the thread. That aside, yes, computer technology does alter the landscape, but it doesn't change it. The market remains an auction market, and an auction market is governed by the Law of Supply and Demand. And given that the...
