Looking for a mentor that has been there, done that and doing it!

Wrong, the best mentors (unless friends) will require you to pay. But they will not ask for the money to themselves, they will direct you to pay to some kind charity. Many people do no appreciate when things are given freely. This way both parties contribute.

The devil as usual is in the details. I stand by what you say when it is applied to a healthy adult who can work. What if one is born disabled? Very serious work injury or very elderly/sick? And the list goes on and on. Like everything else all things are good in moderation. Pure capitalism is...

Hillary's Lead Disintegrates: She Is Now Doing Worse Than In 2008, As Trump Surges

I am willing to put up a wager that if it is Hillary vs Trump, she can start victory dance as soon as he gets nomination. The only way to defeat her is some kind of smoking gun (email and Bengazi do not matter). Trump is popular with his base. Candidate needs more than base to win general election.

Is there any empirical study available about the profitability of option sellers vs option buyers?

Risk/reward go hand in hand. I always use them as an example when I hear that ALL options sellers are usually gone within max 7 years. They are still here and managing 100s of millions.

Is there any empirical study available about the profitability of option sellers vs option buyers?

Mav, Not sure where you got 67% it actually was 47% in 08. Obviously steep, but survivable if ones knows what they are doing. They actually are a great case study how an option seller can steadily make money and survive black swan events. They have been in business long enough to prove it.

Is there any empirical study available about the profitability of option sellers vs option buyers?

Not really. That's actually their bread and butter. The key is how they select their options and mange risk.
