corn price has gone up massively from Aug 2020. then down massively from May 2021. it seems like it has found its comfort zone. It will probably move within a small range over the next few days.

read the news a few hours or even days later. News reporters are slow. and they need time to gather all the relevant facts don't use it for trading. Use it to understand why the market moved.

when the price has already gone so high, you will see many reports which says the price will go even higher so don't read such news. do your own analysis

whether it is time-based or volume-based chart, it wouldn't impact much on where to place the stop, and how/when the stop should be adjusted.

This is how I'd analyze in a non-short-squeeze way. big picture - uptrend started in mid-2020. on 23 Sep 2021, the price broke the 95 resistance level. it continued its up journey for 2 more days ( 3 white soldiers or whatever). traders/investors are now taking some profits.
