If the Dems truly had “the will of the people” - there would have been a legitimate historical blue wave and they would have taken the Senate. The Dems have the will of urban people and certain but not all suburban people.

That would be really important if there were no twelve amendment to the constitution. If every person in every blue congressional district voted Dem it wouldn’t have changed the results for the general election for President.

I think that Pelosi will be an important check on Dem impeachment ambitions. She knows how much long term damage the Republican House did to itself over the Clinton impeachment debacle. Adam Schiff is quite capable. Waters and Cummings I find to be hysterically incompetent.
