Hmmm....look at what happened to the shorts today: CREAMED. Massive short covering, no question about it. Also, copper trading in opposition of the US dollar. The future price direction all depends upon the actions of the central banks and worldwide economies. What looked like an "obvious"...

May not happen with all of the new stimulus coming down the pike.....Europe, Japan, and of course China. Central banks may take the hyperinflation route to avoid depression.

Double top pattern appears to be forming....

Copper's really been moving lately. Anyone know the reason ? One day it's near $1.20, and then $1.07 or so....wow. News from China perhaps ?

We're at all-time new highs again I believe. October is either going to stop here and form a double-top or going to break-out to the upside.

Anything in the area of 152-155 for Oct.....if it stopped there, that would paint a nice head and shoulders top. Definitely stop loss on shorts at 160.

October up one penny....printed 149.25 as the high this morning. Hmmmm....here we are near 150. Can it break thru that level ?

Quite a reversal today intraday. Was up half penny, now down half penny. Far months are down over one cent.

Indeed...October contract up nearly a penny. Still, this smells like short covering.

A slight rally this AM. Can we see 150 by the end of next week ?

Well, I think the first swing has not completed yet. As Mav called for more downside correctly, I'm still in the "overdue bounce needed" camp.

Omigosh....it sure was. Classic double top. But who knows, if world wide economies begin to rebound due to more central bank stimulus, this could end-up as a triple top ! However, I don't see that happening for more 6 months or longer .... At this point, the supply side has been measured pretty...
