Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

You have not been able to dispute my numbers showing ticket charges of $2 per ticket would result in a capital loss of 50%. Assume 100 tickets per days at $2/ticket on 100k Account. That would be an additional 50k per year with a ticket charge or 50% charge to capital. There is no way that I...

Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

My numbers speak to the reality. To say nobody cares about reality only is a s showcase for your failure to produce any numbers in your response. What kind of specialist are you talking about. In the past I had colleagues who were MOC experts who dealt with floor brokers paid seemingly high...

Furthermore there was no such thing as penny spreads in the old days except for penny stocks. Today there are numerous stock s traded with a penny spread. I traded snap today a $60 stock which had a penny spread. Show me how you can do better than that . I gave you my numbers in an example but...

Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

Markets are competitive as there are numerous participants presenting quotes. I have not seen order flow firms making quotes outside of the best nbbo bid and ask.

Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

I didn't defend the practice because of a good fill by accident. Furthermore where do you come to the conclusion that orders that cross are not being executed. It is automatically executed and often between the bid and ask if matched off. FYI these wholesalers execute to 4 decimal places as...

Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

I don't why or how often you had issues with your pfof broker. However you should have entered a customer dispute issue with your broker. There is an audit trail. This is an extremely comparative business with sub penny executions. By the way a 5% move in a penny stock is nothing usual and...

nonsense. point to my misinformation instead posting your opinion as to my previously stated numbers. you are the one providing opinion but no facts. Here is my previously post which you conveniently disregarded:Assume 100 tickets per days at $2/ticket on 100k Account. That would be an...

I won't deny the possibility that that you didn't get your fill but in a fast moving market as in dwac etc it might happen. If you don't have colocate things happen. There is however no reason to extrapolate. The same thing could have happen without order flow. If you have that concern, which...

Assume 100 tickets per days at $2/ticket on 100k Account. That would be an additional 50k per year with a ticket charge or 50% charge to capital. There is no way that I believe I am going to save that 50k without order flow. I trade stocks with.01to .03 spreads.

Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

We are not talking futures market. IBKR is not an old line firm and is a breaker of tradition. These old line firms give thanks every night . that somehow they are able to keep their margin rates at 3 to 4x higher than IB. Imagine 8% vs. IB 2%.

Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

Yours statement is not true. It does not happen to me. markets move fast. I have had many fills below my price because of latency with my broker. It is a scam by old line brokers to go to the SEC to regain their lost competiveness. You and Jsop have fallen industry propaganda , hook and...

Is Gessler, head of the SEC, trying to end zero commissions?

There are old firms on Wall Street who cannot compete with zero commission firms and are trying to get rid of zero commissions indirectly through additional regulations.
