Grandlux, there's a good book (imo) called volume and open interest. If you can find a copy, I'd recommend it. Btw, put gabfly on ignore. The only time I can see his garbage posts are when someone quotes him. He's an Odumba apologist, and an ignorant person.

Traders are simply reacting to supply worries, and a weakening dollar. I certainly wouldn't want the govt stepping in and screwing with the oil markets as I would wonder where they would stop after that... Since the govt seems to screw up anything they get involved in, I'd rather pay $4+ at...

With 25K and 20:1 you're getting a half mil in buying power. With the "no money down" (lol) firms, your split is usually 50% vs 85-90% with firms that take in the capital contribution $. I'm not a prop trader, but am considering it. Let's see what guys here say who do trade prop.
