What I personally hate about EC is the fact that my vote does not really count. I live in NY and it will easily go blue, same with Texas, it will easily go red. With majority vote every one counts.

Agree, however unfortunately current law is EC. And GOP will keep winning elections cause of it. Change of such magnitude takes generations. For example, 100plus years ago Republicans were forward thinkers and moved the progress. Roles have completely changed now.

My personal opinion is that the minority should not fringe upon majority. The solution is quite “simple” - amend the constitution and remove EC rules. Unil then, it is our law and our system. Fair or unfair it may seem.
