Not necessarily so ImO, it depends on range's ability to offer more value than a couple of ticks, I frequently scalp FDAX for 10 or so points going against a predominant trend on long term charts, I couldn't do so trading ES. But since this is a thread concerning ES I will agree with you :)

What about divergence in histogram on 2 minute chart? Lead in by 1 minute chart's histogram.

hypothetical short 1555 :) Same 3rd lower peak, but on 2 minute chart, hypothetical scale out at trendline (if get there) and hold remainder, look out below :) Scaled out at trendline (hypothetically of course) for a whopping 1 point, range could be better. Price re-tested entry point...

Anek, FDAX looking like a W pattern, not yet confirmed by your standards, check it out.

ImO Stoch is similar to RSI and I do not favour neither of those.

hedged? From what I see hourly chart's MACD has crossed centreline downwards, but histogram, which ImO offers better win rate in general, is below the centreline and now on 3rd rising dip, so to me that means caution if short, as price can go through stops very sharpish, hence I asked whether...
