Why should anyone buy stocks now?

There is no comparison between today and 2001 ImO, where is the buying frenzy of 2001? It's simply not there today, we shouldn't assume that markets will always do the opposite of what general public is thinking. You do your own poll on a street, most people will have an opinion that 2008 will...

    Technical outlook on Crude

TY! I use 1 min as a trigger AND as a pattern chart also. Whereas I only use 2 min as a pattern chart. 1 & 2 are pretty close, what do you trade?

    Falling knives

ImE there is nothing wrong with catching 'falling knives' as long as a trader doesn't do it just because he THINKS price has fallen too much and has to be bought. It's not about thinking, but about SEEING that this reverse move is about to happen ie anticipation skill based on research and...

    Technical outlook on Crude

Usman, have a look at Gold 2-3-4 hour current chart, same bullish pattern. And here is the beauty of this which ImO/ImE is very important to a highly leveraged trader wishing to participate in larger oscillations without having to reduce size or extend stop levels. If you see a...

    Technical outlook on Crude

Daily chart's histogram bullish pattern now complete, as daily is a weighted chart, as far as big players are concerned, there ought to be quite a bit more upside next week. I will remain long as long as 240 stays bullish. Still 9 disagree vs 2 agree, I expect to see poll at least at evens as...

    Technical outlook on Crude

Noted. Holding Long position until a reverse signal presents itself, ImO at this point crude has a chance of just retracing to previous upper TL (wedge) and bouncing of it and continueing towards the highs. Reverse signal will have to take place on 4 hour chart.

Again there was a classic D on quite a few time frames.

    Technical outlook on Crude

As a pattern that previous one was PERFECT divergence but they don't all work out according to plan, but the main difference is the following: 1) Does daily histogram show early signs of 2nd higher trough now? YES 2) Do we see a potential for a DB? YES 3) Has price broken out of...

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

I just had a brief meet with a trader based at LSE & she basically has told me that general consensus on the exchange between traders is that markets are going to go "tits up" Translation from English to American that means - markets to tank :) She wasn't referring to today, more of a...
