    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

Had a look at Daily charts of HSI, NIKKEI, FTSE, DAX, SPX, INDU, NAS & whilst all are trading near the lows & we had that lovely jubbly bounce in the afternoon I see histogram declined on most of them all the way to the centreline. I sense a sell-off taking us right through current support zones...

I have been having a rather weird streak of events recently, where I use same method as before, yet results seemed to have flipped from consistently profitable to the opposite, due to vola increase I had to decrease size obviously. Quite frustrated at the moment, maybe I ought to just short &...

Indicators are liars! Support and Resistance Trading for the S&P emini

OK, I still think it's a bit of apples & oranges. On the other hand people that use indicators disregarding support/resistance levels are a different matter, they are the ones that must find it plain impossible to even get to a breakeven stage. So how do you decide whether to sell resistance...

Indicators are liars! Support and Resistance Trading for the S&P emini

I have a bit of an issue with the title of the thread, for it to be valid one has to suggest that support & resistance based trading carries no risk or is the 'Holy Grail'. But in my experience no matter what entry/exit system is being used (from the ones that I've seen) it is the money...

London, UK is not cool anymore - I'm leaving

That's not even funny, clearly an ex-council flat is now called a "city pad", great sense of humour. About 13 years ago that flat would have cost about 50k tops, there is simply no justification of todays valuations of similar types properties, simply because it is close to the City &...

London, UK is not cool anymore - I'm leaving

What is worriesome is that something like 1/3 of British economy is based on serving the financial sector, future involvement of which is unknown at this stage as changes are upon us. I am concerned now like I never was before, considering a permanent move to Spain or perhaps Eastern block...
