No Brainer Breakouts or How An Early Bird Catches A Worm

Look at this chart. Imagine the pink vertical line (far left) is 4.30pm EST that's when range starts. All them bars are 30m ones. At open price went down and started going up. The first reaction Lo became the red line (go short there). Because price never went higher than the opening price we...

ImPO it is more likely to go up, a quick glance on 240 suggests that price is basing building an IH&S, MACD is rising. What's important is that the Daily trend is still up as price bounced of the lower channel's TL. But if it fails, then we go down :)

You are referring to trade latency issues, obviously if you were to do that they would probably decline future service. But as long as your bets are based on a spread derived from actual market prices - you will be just fine amigo :)

Yes I am aware of that, I failed to state that I would be taking Hi/Lo from an initial AH range on a 30m chart, not all of it. I did say that 10.25 range was quite wide, so it would take more time to break out of.

No way Jose. Remember amigo - no greed :) This system ought to generate a daily average of 0.5% ROI, not per margin requirement, but actual trading capital x 190 trading sessions=~95% annual return. (I have used £2000 capital for this & margin is x 45 the stake.)

If I was to guess, I would say we get a headfake & get the right shoulder in place, then down we go. Or if market is weaker than we think it goes down without the right shoulder. Anyhow, ImPO the target that I have come up with is quite reasonable if market doesn't go into full sell off mode...

And the longer the period price whipsaws within a range the bigger the reward. But another key component is to limit greed, therefore target is 20.5, not 100.5 :)

    Ok folks, this is what's happening. 0.16*10.25= -1.64 0.32*10.25= -3.28 0.64*10.25= -6.56 1.28*10.25= -13.12 Currently Long 1038.75 @2.56 per point. I have a feeling that I will get my 20.5 points very soon :)
