Anyone notice that the Shanghai stock market has rallied almost 20% in a single month ? So they are anticipating a Chinese recovery ?

It appears as though the 3 dollar break also had an effect on the silver and gold markets.....they dropped as well. I think we are now below the cost of production....or at least close to it.

So, it finally, FINALLY broke $3.0. All I can say is that this market really trys one's patience !!! So how low do we go ?

1.70 is proving to be a resistance point. I see we're off a penny now from that level.

OK boys...I hope both positions work-out. I remember trading the Apr-Jun spread years ago.....that was pretty wild. Until we see a drop-off in demand of significant proportions, it will continue above 160....that's my call.

Feb now the strongest month as we head into record high territory. This market is being bolstered by the strong equity market which is expecting a strong economy next year. As always: BEWARE OF EXPECTATIONS vs. REALITY.

3 dollar level appears to have held once again. Wow, SOMEONE out there does not want this to go below $3.

Same old, same old. Cattle not moving much at all.

Both Dec and Feb cattle fairly strong....holding above $1.65 level.

Now that's a great trading market.....look at that wicked move at 9:30 today....wow. ....that's not a picture of strength.

Key reversal day today ? Wow, Oct hit $1.72 before backing off.

We continue to backwardate at the front month's 1.69 level. (How's that for a word ?!)

Even if we get a break-out this week, I think it will be an excellent opportunity to get short. This rally is getting really old and the price action is getting ragged.

This is a "fun" market....and good trading to you. The options definitely "saved" you here. This just goes to show that you can't be stuck in one stock, one commodity, one currency-pair.....ya gotta move to where the action is. For instance, copper was the place to be several months ago. Now...

OCT, DEC months now the weakest !! This is getting crazy....of course. This is a daytrading type of market now. Volatility like this oftentimes precedes a big move.
