HFT at the CME - rigged to those that can pay

Exactly....and the stench at the CME just continues to grow with Duffy at charge. The CME could easily make changes to level the playing field, but they won't because it will reduce their net fee income.

UK trader arrested for May 2010 U.S. Stock market flash crash

Nice work Pekelo....now if only Nav had a lawyer that would pick-up on these facts. The stench from the B.S. in his case is really getting strong.

UK trader arrested for May 2010 U.S. Stock market flash crash

I'm with Pekelo and i960 on this. There are powerful people involved in this like Duffy, that extradition lawyer from the US, and that British judge. There is absolutely no possibility of a reasonable negotiation.

UK trader arrested for May 2010 U.S. Stock market flash crash

Exactly, and so he should be fined. Instead, they want to put him away....just to make an example so that it won't happen again. Scapegoat-maximus. I really have no respect for the CME or their chairman Duffy. To me he looks like a mafioso-like thug.

UK trader arrested for May 2010 U.S. Stock market flash crash

What was his handle ? Look, he's still in trouble because his lawyer is too stupid to make the case that he needs much more time to mine the CME order database to prove that Sarao was NOT the only one contributing to the flash crash. And without the postponement, he won't have the money to be...

Camarilla Pivot Points for stock trading

so....plainly speaking, if you see the market going above a high pivot, that tells you the market is in an uptrend. When it subsequently hits a lower pivot, you go long, right ? If however, the market goes lower after your fill, you exit at the next lowest pivot ?

    Windows 10 IB API DDE

DDE is an old protocol, so this is not surprising. Have you tried running Excel in High Priority ? C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c START "" /High "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\EXCEL.EXE"

    RIZM and Quantopia in WSJ

https://www.quantopian.com/posts/quantopian-hangs-on-authenticating-with-interactive-brokers-dot-dot-dot Even quantopian can be considered nascient at best..... they are way, way behind other more refined competitors like Tradestation and Multicharts. It may be YEARS before they catch up.

In that case I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. The last no-programming platform I reviewed was just so weak.

    RIZM and Quantopia in WSJ

I follow Quantopian....as I ramp up my Python learning. Each and every auto-trading platform is proprietary....so it's a long learning curve for the most part. You just can't take your Multicharts algo and plug it in to another platform.

Interactive Brokers not sending limit order to the exchange?

Very slick i960....only downside is that they are likely to fill with more lag than exchange-side orders.

Interactive Brokers not sending limit order to the exchange?

Good job aquarian. One just needs to follow the rules and it works fine.... and always, always remember BuyStops will be triggered above the current market... and SellStops will be triggered below the current market.

UK trader arrested for May 2010 U.S. Stock market flash crash

So all his attorney has to do then is prove there were others involved in the flash crash. This requires massive data mining of all trades, all orders on the day of the crash. I totally agree on the CME sanctions....Nav signed an agreement NOT to spoof, so he definitely should be fined for...

UK trader arrested for May 2010 U.S. Stock market flash crash

This is getting so complex (no surprise there !!) that I wonder that if it is not presented in a cogent fashion by that US attorney, it'll start to appear almost convoluted and contrived. No question Nav was using those other fund managers to "park" the money. But unless they can prove his...
