No, it's really about how the universe operates.
Nowhere ever have we observed something coming from nothing.........just like the universe itself. It always was, it just changes form. Not an esoteric idea at all.
I think the science explanation for our existence is more profound than...
Cool stuff.
from the above article
quantum computers—advanced machines that could in principle run more calculations in an instant than there are atoms in the universe.
What will mankind be capable of then?
Yes by definition the universe, being all there is, is a closed system.
I will agree that the idea of something always being and always having been, is not one that is easily comprehended. Again, this is due to our observation bias in out local lives seeing things come and go. Babies are...
Yes matter/energy does not appear out of nowhere. Like the universe, it always was.
The only seeming exception is with quantum entanglement, where a particle can appear out of nowhere. But that is only possible because somewhere else it's entangled partner vanishes.
So what?
The fact remains that in two years as many are killed by guns as were killed in the Vietnam war.
That Australia has proven gun control works.
Assault weapons and hand guns need to be banned.
No, really, it's not. Nowhere in science does it say things appear out of nowhere from nothing. In fact it says the opposite. Please show me where it does not.
Just because you have trouble with the concept it it no way changes the fact that the stuff of the universe always was.
Look up...
No it doesn't. In fact it adheres to it.
Nothing is created or destroyed, matter and energy are interchangeable. These are principles of physics and observed in the real world.
In fact, it makes more sense that the stuff of the universe simply always. It has only changed form.
We have an...
That's it. That's all he's got and it's nothing. Even Republicans will realize that the Clinton Foundation (an A rated charity BTW) is not Clinton's money.
Are you aware that you often make no sense?
You assume that before the big bang there was nothing. It is more likely that there was always something, it just changes form.
There are many plausible theories as to how life evolved and if one looks back in the fossil record life gets simpler...
OK, for the conservative gun nuts here who of course have trouble with basic math. Since Aus gun laws their deaths have gone down about 60% while during the same period the US deaths have gone down only about 10%.
Strict gun laws work and hand guns and assault rifles should be banned.
