Sherlock, He wasn't making much of a fuss, he was just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. Maybe it would have been better to try solve the matter behind close doors, but you can hardly blame him for asking legitimate questions. Afterall he didn't make any accusations.

If you have any proof that you deposited that money (bank statements-account activity) you should be able to position yourself well if matters get ugly.

Mind you a firm has tried to defraud my account by adding several different transactions that never took place. I still don't know if I will ever enter in a legal dispute with them: I owe them the money not vice-versa.

The same is for stocks, on longer time frames, and as a consequence the 'safe' trades are even fewer than in fx. Can always rotate though...

Hi FT71--I think having a view on market direction is useful in day-trading, especially now that we are close to year-end and anyone can make up his own mind. I also trade what I see but being a bull has helped me going fishing for bottoms and picking up nice trophies.

I keep thinking we bottomed. I think can safely say am one of the few bulls in this board... ...and so far this attitude has paid off.
