How to build a 16TB box for less than $5000

I LOVE these kinds of threads on ET. This is the initial reason why I came to Elitetrader in the first place years ago... The HARDWARE Section has always been filled with tons of VALUE over the years and it still keeps me coming back! Very cool stuff.

    Easy mount LCD

I like the one for $55. Would fit my two 24" Dell ISP screens nicely! Looks nice, with a lot of adjustability. But the 13.375" footing might be a bit too large for my desk. At that width, it's gonna come out pretty close towards my keyboard. Any thoughts on that?

Those would be names like TCK and WLT. Problem is, steel demand is just as soft as thermal coal pricing is.

Good dual DVI PCI card or upgrade to NVS 420??

I also have the Dell T3400 and its dual NVS-290 Nvidia based graphics cards support 4 monitors, as you well know. Given your situation (and mine), I simply chose to purchase a brand new "back-up" computer from the Dell Home Outlet site. An XPS-8300 which is being discontinued in favor of...

The Unit should arrive by Tuesday at the latest. I hear that you can use SSH to reach the CLI, or Winbox ( a free download ) that provides a GUI and what some believe is even better than a GUI.
