Good question! Has Jack Hershey or spydertrader funded any traders? Funding= risk own money funding another trader to use system because of confidence in the system. (By your analogy, buying the person a "fishing rod and bait")

Maybe: 1) he is one of those infamous "hind-sight" trader guys; or 2) maybe he uses too many "lagging indicators"...

$1K might get you a decent Vegas "call girl" for a few hours; not sure that is the type of mentoring you need, but might reduce some internal stress...

Seriously, lets backtest Jack Hersheys methods! It would finally place Jacks methods in proper perspective. Everybody here at ET would be interested in what the equity curve would look like!

Mark Brown has given out many free trading systems throughout the years. Give him some mechanical rules for a Jack Hershey trading method, and maybe he would code something for us. It will be great for everybody to see how Jacks methods backtest!
