I've concluded its impossible to day trade index futures manually

LOL, dream a dream. :p May be you should try solving the set of 'differentiation' questions. I have no idea what they mean or they are not meant to be solved.

    Volume

Seems almost but not quite. Think a little deeper on the process of how the minority gradually transforms as a majority and vice versa. One day, you may be able to trade with DOM and T&S alone without using a chart nor confronting any risk. :D

    Volume

No! Stick with volume. A property market is booming because there are less sellers than buyers. Sellers are in control of the price. Volume

Hey OP, Say the property market in where you live is booming. It is commonly called a seller market. Who is the minority? Who is in control of the market? Same thing, same questions in a buyer market. HTH. :D

What are the rules of your trading system?

    The bottom

Sometimes when I get sick with price and volume chart, I trade illiquid market for relaxation and pennies. DOM window is all I ever need to watch. Life is simpler as elephants are all over stomping on the screen. You have a problem with that fancy dodgy-blue pro-rata volume bar? Not kidding...

Thanks for the comment. You sound like a smart guy. I hope that you can SEE the formation sequences of volume peak, bar to bar as well as intra-bar.

Great! Thank you so much. :)

    Boolean algebra inside.

So, when we see the volume of the leaders in rising sectors in A and B start rising, we are set to trade their laggers. Is that correct?
