    Also keep in mind that the probability of an OTM option becoming ITM increases if you are short the option and decreases if you are long the option. This is know as Murphy's Law.

    No ...... I prefer long positions only. No selling of options at all, no credit or debit spreads.

    I would close both legs since you are at maximum reward. And reconsider debit spreads in the future. Open new long put position with a strike below 280.00.

    IMO ..... Your biggest hurdle will be the bid/ask spread and commissions.

    I don't know why tech companies don't buy these brick-and-mortar companies more often. They should take advantage of their sky high stock prices and diversify. AMZN bought Whole Foods but that's a rarity.

    Happens all the time and for no reason - the whole market surges up or down at the same time. And there is always an exception, one of the big techs doesn't participate and they trade flat. I find it odd that everything can move suddenly like that on no apparent news.

    The EURCHF incident was a Black Swan Event. Black Swan Events are impossible to predict, but easily explained in hindsight. Hindsight is always 20/20. :)
