What's going on with bond prices?

I was thinking bitcoin afterwards... lol But you don't talk about it that much on your show. Technicials look like it's bottoming out, but it'd probably take months before it's ready for another rally.

What's going on with bond prices?

Jim, so you're saying people have been stuffing all their bond money into the stock market instead since April 2020 and thus market hit new highs while Bonds declined. Do ya think if bonds go any lower, Market's gonna have a correction?

16 Jun Fed Meeting - Uncle Jerome Highlights

Is this bad news? I thought inflation was outta control already and they're going to keep printing?

What's going on with bond prices?

The 30-year peaked last April and thus have been on a steady decline ever since than. We've had low interest rates for a while. Wouldn't low interest rates = High bond prices? Doesn't look like it. Now that the fed hints it'll start hiking rates in 2023, wouldn't bonds go down even more? Or...

Does anyone know why DE and CAT moved so much this year?

Yes that could be part of it. Commodity prices has been rising a lot. I bought a lot of wood recently. However as of last week I think the Rally for DE and CAT are over. Down 15% from it's highs already. Maybe it'll continue after some consolidation. CAT in particular with some BIG volume...

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

I think the news is a pretty good indicator it's slowing down. Everything is priced in than the stupid media starts feeding you their stale garbage. Sure there's more inflation down the road, but atleast for now, I feel we're gonna get a small rally in the dollar. When your FB starts...

What is the general relationship between banks and credit card companies?

Jim, do I get any benefits from getting a card directly from the card company? They must give something to incentivize cutting out the bank.

Does anyone know why DE and CAT moved so much this year?

Ok I know now Blackrock has been buying homes like crazy and home prices have been raising rapidly for the entire year. I don't know WHY blackrock is bidding up home prices all of a sudden... I'm not a big fan of financial commentary but he is using news articles and charts... High home...

Does anyone know why DE and CAT moved so much this year?

I don't think it's related to just DE and CAT alone. There seems to be a bull market in the construction sector even though I didn't hear much news about it. Home Depot on the receiving end of that had a big run up too. Also SPG ( one of my favorites had one hell of a run too ) I figure it...

Does anyone know why DE and CAT moved so much this year?

That doesn't really explain CAT going up as well. If you step back and look at the bigger picture, I think there's a lot of investment in construction right now. I only know of DE and CAT, but I'm sure a lot of companies that rent out heavy equipment is having a good year. Has very little to...

Does anyone know why DE and CAT moved so much this year?

Is there a farming and construction boom going on behind the scenes? I don't take the "economy is opening back up" reason since a lot of stocks didn't roar back as hard as these 2 did. Some stocks like CMG are getting destroyed when they are projecting great earnings next quarter and for the...

What is the general relationship between banks and credit card companies?

Who pays the fees? Me? I only pay interest for the credit. Also if it's a debit card there is no interest. Who makes money there? Jim?

What is the general relationship between banks and credit card companies?

For example my Mastercard is through citibank. Can you just get a visa card without going through some kind of bank? Who makes the money when you spend? Mastercard or your bank? Does one make more off debit card or credit?

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

That doesn't work with illegal immigrants does it? White collar jobs I can export to other country I.E. India. And let's not forget you're also competing with automation. Do you think McDonald's would have had so many kiosks today if you didn't complain so hard for a wage increase all these...

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

I like how everyone likes to discuss fractional reserve banking as if anything is gonna change. I can tell you schools are selling cacaine to your kids in school and there'll just be a discussion about it. They're just going to keep doing it, nothing you can do so screw it. :D

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

The only problem with my idea is you would be paying people based on company profits and not skills. A small warehouse worker's only job is to move boxes for 15 an hour, while another worker at walmart does the exact same thing and gets more pay and more benefits. If that happens everyone...

Do you think the Market has already priced everything in?

Do you think Biden will get in the way? He's printing money for his socialism agenda... Doesn't work if the fed is Hawkish.

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

Look with all due respect to you and Mr. Price, you do know Costso and Walmart business model is completely different right? I don't want to dig too deep into it, but Costco makes it's money selling memberships (even negative cash flow on some items) while Walmart is just a big store. And 15...

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

Wait what? Don't plumbers and Carpenters have their rates on their website or they can give you a quote over the phone? You dictate the price? As for the cleaning ladies, in the US they usually work for a company and that company has it's own rates. You just need to tip them when they're done.
