Trading EUR/USD Daily Hi & Lo

It's high risk, that's why I have allocated initially 20k, now compounded to 40k after 1 year of spanking this cobra. If I can repeat 100% return each year for the next 5 years that would equal £1.2m+ from £20k. IMO that's worth the risk ;)

Of course Martingale strategy is risky, but I knew that from page 1 of this journal.

    JPY at end of trend?

For the record I got out with a loss of 450 pips on this one. Whether I participate in a long again I couldn't tell right now. That was the longest held trade & the most boring I have ever held. Thank Christ for pairs like EurAud, felt alive after that one.

Trading EUR/USD Daily Hi & Lo

Stats wouldn't matter as this isn't mechanical in nature in my case. It's simple really, yet not risk free. 1. Establish a method that shows end of congestion; 2. Get acquainted with average oscillation of that instrument; 3. Choose a range based on daily candle's Hi/Lo. Target ought to be...

Trading EUR/USD Daily Hi & Lo

You keep asking about direction & I keep saying it's about range expansion, as when you get an impulse wave that means you are on the right side. This method of range breakouts paired with the Martingale strategy has worked so far because I pick Hi/Lo ranges near the time of an impulse wave. If...

Trading EUR/USD Daily Hi & Lo

Just switch on EurAussie Daily chart & look at its histogram leading to current upside, that is classed as a buy pattern, but because most conventional TA offers 50/50 probabiliy I use that pattern as range expansion indication, doesn't matter up or down as long as I get sufficient range...

    JPY at end of trend?

Let's assume that both outcomes have equal odds, it's not what you may lose, but what you may gain. Most TA setups are indeed about 50/50 outcome ;) Here is a weekly Yen COT chart, it's quite self explanatory. Yen tends to decline when Large Traders are net short Yen futures & the opposite...

    JPY at end of trend?

COTs indicate that large traders have flipped dramatically from being Long Yen to being Short Yen. Nice one! Here is what I think is gonna happen. Euro will rise against USD, though USD will rise versus Swissie & Yen to balance USD's rate of descent.

Trading EUR/USD Daily Hi & Lo

Look at Eur/Aussie Dollar Daily chart's MACD Histogram, that pattern is meant to be a classic buy pattern paired with price either basing or diverging. In this method though I don't use this pattern as a directional indication, but a volatility/range expansion/impulse wave timing indication. Do...

FEBRUARY 18, 2011, 4:23 P.M. ET UPDATE: Speculators Turned Short On Yen Last Week - CFTC NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Speculative investors switched their views on the yen last week, swinging toward a bet that the Japanese currency will decline, data released Friday showed. The market held net...

Monthly divergence looking sooooo cooooool now. A quad! With recent weeks of price consolidation I doubt there will be any major flush. My target remains 90.
