As others have stated, trading through excel is not ideal. I have used 3 spreadsheets every day for the last 2 years and have not had a major problem, but other methods can compute and handle data much better. I'm currently paying someone to transfer all my stuff to C+.

So I am trying to figure out the odds of flopping a Royal with AKs. I found the following stats:
Being dealt AKs = 331:1
Flopping 10JQs to make Royal = 19,599:1
Obviously my college education went to waste because I don't remember how to correctly figure out the combined odds. Anyone?

I read Trading In The Zone and had trouble staying awake while reading it. The book just didn't apply to my style of trading. In my opinion psychology only applies to beginner traders, or traders who trade solely on discretion. If you have a strategy or an edge that you know is profitable...
Get a free subscription to esignal, right click on chart, Send Image To - Local File. Then burn the images to a CD and take them to kinkos to print. Make sure your background is white. It will cost <$100 probably.

My record was something like 28 days, but I find that usually after streaks like that it is like someone turns off the money spigot. Suddenly the opportunities are gone for a week or two. That's happened to me countless times.

Of course traders aren't going to post publicly that they make that much consistently, but there ARE plenty of guys doing it. There are at least 4 guys who have posted in this thread that do make >$10k/mo. Not to mention I know at least 4 other guys on ET who...
Yeah I hate having no commute, no boss to answer to, having days off whenever I want. I'm jealous of my friends who get to take BART and buses for an hour to get to work.
