Does IB trade against our orders?

This is something that I don't know from sources but feel 100% sure that it's wildly illegal!

Trading on Vacation from rural Mexico

You'll get jacked for sure with this in mexico, but it's pretty much one of the coolest things ever: http://www.internetanywhere.us/pages/883501/index.htm

    Charting 3 variable data

Here's almost what I want. The problem here is that the coloring should identify the value at a point, not correspond to the z-axis :(

    macro thoughts

On the contrary, the future is brilliant, the US, UK and China will unite in the creation of the first 3-4 space elevators on earth, and 1-2 on Mars (http://www.highliftsystems.com/). The most demanding aspects of spacecraft will instantaneously change from reentry to massive centrifuges and...

    Charting 3 variable data

..for every combination of those 3 parameters there is then an average quarterly return which >could< be the size of the bubble, if oriented in 3 dimensions and if I could get it to work

    Charting 3 variable data

I've tried the bubble chart in excel, but can't get it to work. Maybe I'm not feeding the data in properly. How would I do it given values belonging to unique x,y,z coordinates. Is there a way to use multiple standard sheets (each 2 variable) in a workbook to input data as the third variable...

    Charting 3 variable data

Hello, Frequently when I optimize a trading system I want to chart the results (average return/median quarterly return, etc.). Charting 2 variable data is stupidly easy using excel, but how do I chart 3 variable data? I've done some creative printing on transparencies which overlap but how...

CTAs/Hedge Funds Drawdown Recovery & The Business of Trading

I position trade, in at the opens, out on closes 2-15 days later. I did all the programming myself and use EOD data from msodata.com. The portfolio moves get sent to my firm where they get executed. All I do is click "update".

additional problem: - unless the system can be backtested using a proprietary technique, real-time results will take years to become meaningful

    Filters & KISS methods

T-REX I look forward to Tuesday's demo. The chat last week re: Strategy Runner brought up an interesting concept of creating a "market" for TA systems. Unfortunately strategy runner just deals in futures and needs proprietary system conversion. Imagine a site where you could update your...

CTAs/Hedge Funds Drawdown Recovery & The Business of Trading

My system is 100% automated, position trading stocks with a minimum liquidity of 80,000,000 price x volume. I wasn't using my system during the drawdown but feel I can live with it. Can anyone else post their drawdown graphs? I find worst-case scenarios fascinating and only get to see ones based...
