go work for a prop trading firm for a long enough time to find out what they use ... then you'll know how to set one up.

I have talked with the Orc reps and their solution would be overkill for retail. There must be another solution provider that offers similar functionality without the hefty price tag.

I can't believe there's no trading in the south florida. I attended a trading expo in ft. lauderdale a couple summers ago and the place was packed. I suspect a lot have blown up by now.

I trade futures thru Velocity and equity options with thinkorswim. I will entertain a broker that will give me direct access to ecns as well as futures to employ these strategies.

I guess I need to wake up to reality. I have an automated strategy that can produce 10K to 20K per month using Orc, that's why I even considered using it. I wonder if any of Orc's customers would consider leasing a connection. I'd pay to have access to that kind of automated trading power...
