"JPY has backed off recent highs because of growing expectations (and government signals) that the government/BOJ is about to do something about the strong yen, both with fiscal stimulus and more BOJ action. While one or two more attempts at the historical high of JPY79/USD are likely, the fact...

Food 4 thought, this strategy is hybrid of scaling into a position. The benefit here is that there is no directional bias applied whilst a position is being built. So when it does eventually pop you are on the right side of a market.

"...We must confess that we are puzzled as to why the S&P 500 hasn't already seen another big downleg, as technically the index has looked like it was dangling on the edge of a renewed selloff for over a week, with bond yields leading the way. The index had failed to keep above its 200-day...

If 61.75 doesn't hold, then 1,000 is very likely as 61.75 is July's 50%. Failure to hold second test will open next level therefore.

Gold - on cusp of massive bearmarket :)

DB, there is nothing wrong with patience. You consider reaction based decisions to be inferior compared to being first in line. This might come as a surprise to you, but we ain't discussing how to buy fresh water in Pakistan. Why the need to beat another guy or even majority by being one of the...

IMO what is important to consider & I keep repeating myself on this point is how averages on weekly frame have been rejected. Last 2 key magnets are below 81 & 100 SMA. If sufficient interest comes in there, then that may change my bias, which may or may not be in line with current trade though.

It's getting funny, ratio of bulls is high here & I don't see anything bullish, apart from price going up today.
