It's not dangerous if one buys low & sells hi :) Most world indices were bearish, can't fade that p/a indefinetely. I prefer shorts to longs as money is made much quicker on an average trade.

Buy1Sell2, why did you go against your own methodology? I thought you were countertrend trader as well as trend follower, I would have thought you would stick to your previous short (when you got stopped out) and re-entered the market at some time later on, why have you passed on such a classic...

AS, I think it's playing out now, also divergence on ES weekly chart, ImO bulls need to look for major support to initiate longs.

maybe he commits 2% or whatever he uses as risk cushion of his total net capital to 1 position without leverage, I understand in that case, but you would need a big portfolio to profit from gains derived. But even so hypothetically speaking if he is short losses can be larger than estimated.

"Buy LOW, sell HIGH" is still (ImO) THE main reason why technical analyses in its most basic of forms works and doesn't for the ones that try to use it being "in the middle" of a directional oscillation followed by disbelief in technical analyses.

That is a totally unfair bit of commentary, one sided totally. There are heaps of information on ET, it's upto an individual to compile it. Let's be frank here, how many of us learned how to trade (at least at a consistently b/e level) by simply following any concept invented by another person...
