Your first tape of the morning doesn't have increasing volume anywhere in it => can't be a chubby tape without pt3

I have had definitive experience with the "defocussing". :D After taking a look at today's Spydertrader's chart and comparing it to mine, I am going to print the quote above, frame it and hang it on a wall. :)

Try this logic: 1. This bar is a pt1 of the new channel in the opposite direction. 2. Channels overlap. 3. pt1 of the new channel is an FTT in the old channel. 4. Some FTT's fall on the same bar as pt3. They're referred to as FT3...

wrong application of the tools within the wrong context results in utter confusion, however sticking to what I can see results in relatively clear picure:
