Geez Don, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the thread called "Echotrade"? Why do you always feel like you have to post an advertisement on every page of every thread? You've already said everything about your company a million times in 887 previous posts in the last 4 months that you have...

    Capitalization of an LLC

I would agree that to have survived the last few years and undergo all the regulatory changes, I would think that any of the pro firms that are left have not only good risk management but sufficient capital. I think Gene's assessment of the situations also, in choosing firm B, is right. The...

vinny1, From what I know their arca fees include everything, ie: you do not pay extra depending on where arca goes for a fill. Good news in that link posted on the previous page by crazy_trader, looks like INCA is going to start paying a rebate soon. That will be good for any Echo guys...

Yes, under normal rates. If you are a large trader and receive volume discounts it gets much cheaper than that. IE: the largest traders, under normal 0.0075 cents structure, would pay 0.0064 cents for adding liquidity, 0.0094 for taking liquidity. But that is the right concept.

Yes, I trade remotely with them. I trade mainly (99%+) listed stocks, so I am not an expert on the Nasdaq stuff. But I am very happy with them, and definitely would recommend them for anyone looking to go pro, or pros looking for another firm. From being on both the retail side and pro...

I may be wrong, but I believe that for someone to hit a bid, someone else has to have placed that bid. That would mean that 50% of all ISLD orders are from adding liquidity, and 50% of all ISLD orders are from taking liquidity. ISLD pays pros for liquidity to provide a tight market for...

All depends on how you trade. I do get the feeling from talking to Echo though that if you are a big trader you may be able to work out a free ISLD deal instead of getting the straight pass through. Can't confirm that but it kind of sounds like that.

    LLC Membership

Class A is usually the owners and partners of a firm, and usually the only class of ownership with voting rights in the firm or participation in the profits and losses of the firm as a whole. Classes B, C, and whatever else are usually non-voting, non-participating in the profits and losses...

I just talked to the people at Echo, they are using the new ISLD rates, they say their website should reflect that later today. I think they had just forgotten to update the site from the way it sounded. Basically, if you traditionally put bids and offers on ISLD, not buying into or above...

New Nasdaq Fees (Echo vs. Bright)

ECHO definitely is not a franchise, he is referring to another competitor of Echo and Bright that you may or may not know is a franchise.

    Bright questions

I know from another post that Bright charges an additional $50 if you want Level 2 (which I don't know who doesn't), I don't know at what point that becomes free. I do know that Echo's software is also free at 200,000 shares and includes Level 2 if that helps you.

POLL: Pay up to stop all of the arguing?

Maybe Baron could bill people $0.10 a post, or something like that. So people could still read all they want for free, and posters would pay for it.

    Bright Meeting and Elite...

Don, Does the $200 remote monthly charge cover Nasdaq Level 2, or is that extra? If so, how much? Thanks.

    Redi Plus

When I was on Redi, I had no idea how bad it was until I tried other software. Knowing what I know now, I would never be happy using it again.

Hitman, Were you at the Worldco booth at the expo in NY?

def censored...that sucks ..post your opinion

Baron, You brought up a good point. If def was censored, Hitman must be on the list too. He is out there blatantly promoting Worldco, and they do not advertise. Is he slated to be censored soon?

    Worldco LLC

That is my same list. I am sad in a way that all the spamming has added a lot of traders for Don, that means it will probably continue. The way Gene Weismann and def talk about their firms is the way it should be done, they are both very professional and industry promoting, instead of firm...

    Censorship! What's Going On????

Is there a way for us to know if anyone besaides Baron can remove posts, and who they are? Could it be the posts are being removed by biased people without Baron's knowledge?
