In my experience to use very high resolutions you need very large displays otherwise everything just looks too small.
I've done some research recently and for the time being the 1920x1080 standard in 23/24" seems to be ideal for traders.
I don't have all the facts in front of me as this is a very long journal but is Pinkman like a long-only version of Ammo (the short version) ?
Just want to get that detail clear.
Thanks, good luck tomorrow with NFP.
re: Original Topic
I think the overall consensus is that you can reduce it by only trading during trending states but it cannot be avoided as a whole.
It's also important to mention that most furious breakouts initiate from periods of consolidation which raises the question, is...
In order for me to land a breakout, I must have a position in play from before, I don't initiate during the "supposedly" breakout stage.
It's a nice bonus that sometimes happens when you let winners run.
Interesting videos, thanks for posting them.
I mostly trade index futures and would love to see some of their stats vs the Forex studies you did, is it possible to load the typical CME futures in MT or is MT strictly for Forex?
Thanks again.
I think assigning dividends to a company that "had" strong growth is a sign of slow growth to come, I think AAPL will slowly become an INTC, a MSFT, etc.
Trading is all probability, meaning at best what you can get is something that happens more than 50% of the time.
In any case, see AAPL weekly top with a very small candle marking the top, a classic evening star.
A person with a consistency as good as no losing days would have the mental fortitude to trade the absolutely best liquidity of the instrument aka max contracts without running into fill issues.
My question to you is, do you ?
