Thank you for posting the blotter. I think with a freebie screen capture program the process is rather quick. I think if you do not intend to follow the rules of the journal it's best to not post at all, so I agree with your decision. As far as the small size, working on it, we all got...

PA was very tight today, least in futures, you had to buy or sell at the right spot to obtain a decent winner. I only did one trade and minimum size because of how tight everything felt and I see you did 10, for how tight everything was it sounds overly excessive, again, don't know if you did...

No disrespect intended but I call them as I see them and the whole thing sounds like bullcrap to me. #1) Two much effort? The accounts software is open, otherwise, how else do you know how much you made or loss? Take no time to take a small screenshot of the P/L. #2) Why do you trade large...

Another green day. Who said daytrading futures profitably is a pipe dream and that technical analysis does not work ? Still a piker but a consistent one ! :)

Much easier to take the path of least resistance than fight hurricane winds. There will be a time when shorts will have the path of least resistance, that time is not here yet, unless you are in top calling and that sort of thing; a fool's game imho. Glad to hear shorting volatility is...

Agree with your comments, except that there have been plenty of pullbacks in smaller timeframes. When it's so strong, we just simply need to adapt and look lower for the waves there.

RISK and how we deal with it.

Risk is a tricky one. There are some that come from the school, that your stops should be small, as you can always re-enter. Even some that counter this by saying death from a thousand stops is not much different from large stops although you could limit number of entries per area to avoid...

Was having a great day, then something horrible happened, the kind of thing you never hear much about but happens every now and then to traders, a fat finger error. Made a big mistake with the DOM, before I knew it, the mistake ate most of my profits away, still managed to salvage a green day...

Consistency did not come with ease, plenty of years of losses, followed by what felt like an eternal journey of break even trading. After that odyssey there are scars, plenty of them. First you beat the sim, then you beat cash, after that, plenty later, comes heavy size, working on it, slowly...

    Trading NQ via Price Action

Many times an educated bias is not a bad thing, like the previous prevailing trend.

Not sure if there any Pitchfork traders out there, but here's one on SPX showing there's still some upside left according to the "Fork".

It's not so simple, at some point the range is going to break, maybe the last time we test support, or maybe the last time we test resistance. My bet is on a break to the upside producing a tremendous short squeeze.

I feel like I work for the broker, so much lost in comm, just a plethora of breakeven trades, price action was too tight.

I need to double, better triple my $20,000 quickly

    What's a 50% probability bet in the casino that's > even payout?

80% of funds underperform the market?

It would be hard for them to justify their fees just telling you to buy SPY :)

I actually think the market is an expert stop hunter and actually aims for those so called, stops outside the range of noise.

When the target is so ample, we can just wait for price to confirm a nice turn and then take it. In my experience, these can bend, even break and conver resistance to support, I know, a great accomplishment, but this bull has done it time and time again; so imo a little confirmation is in order.

80% of funds underperform the market?

    Hope it's a joke, because it's hilarious :) If it's not, apologies.
