    My guess is stands for stock Index futures. As far as the program trading. At first it was a pain in the ass but i have learned to take advantage of it. If you follow price action only it shouldnt make much of a difference.

    You guys are missing one very important fact. The deal at schonfeld may not compare to other prop deals, but you can walk in there without a dime, trade a ton of money, and if you lose, you owe NOTHING. Name ONE place other than Schonfeld that you can do that?

    I use the ADX with BB's. Low and non trending ADX readings should give you nice reversals off the band touches. High and trending ADX readings should lead to as you say "sticking to the bitch" moves.

    CTA rules are much more LAX then Hedge funds. Remember you are not pooling $ in a CTA. All a CTA is a fancy name for futures broker like a stock broker.

    I dropped 45K that day in 5 minutes. i think i was short 9000 shares. Didn't kill me though. Made it back and took home a check the next month. Wasn't my money though, if it was probably would of been it for me. One of the advantages of trading TRUE prop with no money down.
