I'm assuming you're getting your "sales rank" from amazon. The book sells for 20% less on www.mgordonpub.com (the publisher) and other places on the web. So people are buying it elsewhere (I haven't checked lately, but there used to be links on Amazon itself for cheaper places). It was the...

The publisher (www.mgordonpub.com) set the price (but has in more recent times kept it on sale). I suppose it was because "trading manuals" (vs. mainstream general knowledge type books) were going for that price and higher at the time. I have several manual type books in my office that I paid...

Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. :) My policy is and always has been NOT to comment on the childish behaviors of others. In fact, this is my first and likely my last public comment I will make on any such matters. As a trader, I know that my largest drawdown will...

Agree Mydemaray. I have learned the "secret" to trading is learning when not to trade. ALL methodolgies have a "sweet spot". So you have to learn to recognize those times and forget about the rest. I'm sure you already seen it (if anyone else wants this, I can get you a PDF), but...

I do. Yes, I recently had a lenghtly discussion with a fellow trader discussing the psychological side of money management vs. the conceptual. I belive you have to find something that works both psychologically and conceptually. In other words, something that is conceptually correct that...

    Calling All Trend Traders

Achiever, I agree with your second post...that if you answered all the questions you would have a complete methodology. Therefore, if there is a certain aspect that you are most interested in (e.g. money and position management), email me and I will be happy to send you articles in PDF...

    Please help -- shorting techniques

By flipping the Y axis you are simply gaining perspective. If a long looks like a good short when flipped, then it's probably a good long...and vise versa...... Dave

Okay, here is another way to learn to short. It'll cost you about 10k but I promise you'll learn for life. Open up a futures account with around 10k. Go long only. Now every time you lose money, because it is a zero sum game, realize that someone "took" your money. Now visualize that...

Yes, Fast Trader, I use the utility virtually every day. It gives you a different prespective. If you were thinking about going long something, it's probably not a bad idea to flip it over to see if it would be a good "short". And vise versa. I highly recommend it to anyone who isn't...

    Please help -- shorting techniques

I have a utility I found on the net. It will flip the Y axis on any screen. In other words, it turns your chart upside down. This way, you can look at a potential short as a potential long. It's called "upsidedown.exe". Email me if you need a copy. Dave
